With a string of hits which include ‘I Believe’, ‘Charmaine’, ‘The Stars Will Remember’ and ‘Diane’, The Bachelors were a phenomenon of the 1960s. Their soft Irish harmonies won them fans that have followed them for almost half a century.
In the mid 1980s the original band decided to discontinue, but ten years later John Stokes was coaxed by his army of fans to reform the band, which he duly did. Thus today The Bachelors are still entertaining with John being joined by musicians and vocalists Jonathan Young and Dave Pearson.
