Voted the no. 1 U.K. touring rock 'n' roll show by U.K. Rock Magazine, 'C'mon Everybody' invites audiences to take their drape jackets and circle skirts out of the back of the wardrobe for an evening of unashamed fifties nostalgia.
The music of legends like Bill Haley, Eddie Cochran, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly and Chuck Berry is celebrated along with tributes to Brenda Lee and Connie Francis in a fast moving revue that runs for more than two hours 20 mins, complete with lightning costume changes and non-stop music.
The show, which has been touring constantly for five years, is master-minded by ace guitarist and music industry veteran Chris “Fender” Black. He is joined by a hand-picked team of seven professionals all with backgrounds in music and theatre, whose amazing tributes will have you believe you are back in the days of big finned cars and coffee bars, when there were no Mods - just Rockers.
All the acts are completely live, and are given full support by
Chris Black & Blackcat which includes brass and piano.
“This is the slickest, fastest moving non-stop revue ever seen in the UK, and is doing completely live what TV shows like Oh Boy and Drum Beat attempted back in the fifties.
It leaves the visitor totally breathless, and Chris Fender Black is to be congratulated for putting together the most ambitious show seen outside the West End.”
